Refunds, deposits, and missed chairs
These rules apply to the work we actually offer: drop allocations, commissioned origin pages, consultations, and reading-room previews. They do not cover goods we do not sell.
Who may ask
The person named on the confirmation may ask for a refund by writing to hello@netpilotbase.world or by post to 84 Maidstone Road,Wentworth,CB6 6GT,United Kingdom, or by telephone on 07085727844.
Allocations
If you cancel an allocation before the drop closes and before we mint your copy, we refund in full within fourteen days of the request, back to the method you used. After mint, the numbered NFT comic cannot be unwound. If the paper proof has not yet shipped, we can withhold the proof and refund 15% of the allocation, which is the studio cost of the unused sheet and postage. If the proof has shipped, there is no refund on that copy.
Commissions
The thumbnail deposit is refundable if we have not begun pencils. Once pencils start, that third is kept for studio time already spent. The inks instalment is refundable only if inks have not begun. Colour files, once delivered, are not refundable. If we miss an agreed calendar by more than four weeks for reasons inside the studio, you may cancel and receive a full refund of sums paid for stages not delivered.
Consultations
Cancel a sitting with forty-eight hours’ notice and we refund the £95. Inside forty-eight hours, or if you do not attend, the sitting is kept. If we cancel, we refund in full or move the sitting at your choice.
Preview chairs
The £40 chair is refunded if you cancel with twenty-four hours’ notice, if we cancel, or if you allocate the same day (it is credited against the allocation). A no-show is not refunded. We do not resell the chair; we simply keep the afternoon clear.
Rescheduling
Sittings and previews may be moved once without charge if you give the notice above. A second move is treated as a cancellation. Commissions may be paused by written agreement; a pause longer than three months is a cancellation of remaining stages.
Materials already bought
Cream stock and plates bought for your splash proof are charged at cost if you cancel after we have ordered them and they cannot be used on another issue. We will say so in the confirmation when a special sheet is needed.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back by the same method within fourteen days of us agreeing the sum. We do not offer store credit in place of a refund unless you ask for it in writing.
Work already started
Thumbnails, pencils, inks, colour, minting, and printing are “started” when the named person in the studio has begun that stage on your issue. A gap list is started when Tomais opens your list against the ledger.
