Cookies on this site

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use as few as we can. This notice should be read with our privacy notice.

Types we use

Essential. We store your accept or reject choice so the banner does not return on every page load. Without this, we would have to ask again each visit. The site — origin ledger, allocations enquiry, reading-room form — works if you reject.

Analytics. Only if you accept, we count visits to pages such as the origin ledger so we know which issues are being read. We do not use advertising cookies.

Cookie table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
netpilotbase_cookie_consent Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies 12 months (localStorage) Netpilot Base
netpilotbase_ledger_hits Counts page views of the origin ledger and field notes if you accepted 6 months Netpilot Base

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can clear site data in your browser to see the banner again. You can also block cookies in browser settings. Blocking all cookies may hide the banner’s stored choice; it will not stop you sending a brief or reading the ledger.

Third-party cookies

Pages load type from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash and Pexels. Those hosts may set their own cookies when the files are requested. We do not control their duration. See each host’s own notice if you want to block them at network level.

If you disable cookies

You will still read issues, send the form, and request an allocation. We will not count ledger visits. We may ask for your cookie choice again if localStorage is empty.
